Look what 9 months will do for ya.....

These pictures were taken of the girls in Colombia. Lily on the day we got and and Gabby about a week later...she was so sick when we got her. She ended up in the hospital and home hospital care for almost 2 weeks....Here she is hooked up to the oxygen.....still

Im so glad they are a part of our FAMILY!!! WE have had them 9 Months today!!!

WALL OF CHORES

Ok so we now offically have this up on the wall....its been on a chair for some time now but this will make it ALOT easier...

Well I have had to be creative with Gabby and Isabella's chart...i only have 2 of the responsibility charts. Anyway, they are getting a kick out of it and when i say "Well we must do our chores so we can get a magnetic...."they get excited.....AND THEN the DREADED....."If you dont obey Mommy and do our fun chores, we cant have fun picking out our magnetic" It seems to work for now....Wish me luck!!!

Anyone out there have one or two Melissa and Doug responsibility charts with magnetics they want to pass along to my CLAN?

Lily and her masterpiece

Last night while we were brushing teeth and getting ready for bed...Lily sat at the table in their room and started drawing. She drew 3 different pictures and i yelled for William to bring the camera. She so proudly displayed her picture of her Mommy and Daddy.....I got a kick out of it. She even wrote the words with my guidance of how to spell them.....

This is our shred pile. I had them in a walmart bag to do and this is what happens when 4 little girls get ahold of a bag...............it was all over the whole floor.......boy did they have fun!!! It was a nightmare though to get them to pick it all up once the FUN was over...

organization!!!

Well, I just want to say we are having a great few days.....the girls seem to be on the mend, just fighting a nasty cough...but overall doing well.

PICTURES ARE NOT ME......JUST TOTALLY HOW I FEEL AT TIMES.....LIKE THESE!!!

Organization.............oh how I so desperately want to be organized.....anyone out there have tips on things you have done, to your child's room, your office, laundry room etc.....I just am feeling so overwhelmed. William and I spent 4 hours last night working on filing, going through bills, etc....and now its all done...so onto othe shelves in the office.....books galore, that we just dont read. I know we do have alot of stuff, I'm an addict for kids things. But with having 3 girls with DS I feel like I have to find every toy out there that will help them with therapy.....I am a total thrift shopper, consignment sales, Goodwill, etc.....but still way too much things. HELP! I want to overcome this "Kids STUFF Addict syndrome I have" so any tips would be great. I plan on shipping some clothes and maybe even some toys to a few online friends who have just welcomed a angel into their home as well, so maybe it will bless them too!


SO HELP out there..........I'm willing to hear them all!!!

Update on Michael

My son did well. He is pretty sore, and it was really scary at first when he come home. He was bleeding alot and having to change the gauze pads in his mouth. I have been able to give him 2 small milkshakes, and gatorade and his pain meds. He about passed out earlier when he got up but William and I caught him and lowered him to the floor. I think he was just really out of it and got up to fast.

Thanks for your prayers. Continue to lift him up as he will also be in pain/discomfort for a few more days.

Please pray for my son Michael

Michael drove home last night from Panama City in all that bad weather. He finally made it home in about 5 hours...but safely. He had to come home because he has to have the lovely dental work done.....ALL 4 WISDOM TEETH PULLED. wILLIAM has taken him already this morning and is doing surgery as I type this. Please everyone lift my son up in prayer as he is VERY nervous.

I will update later today with his progress.

Pictures from the Tornado

Here are just a few pictures of the neighborhood. I was in total shock when we turned down the street. I have NEVER been in or around anything like this before so wow is all I could possibly say. Thanks to our Lord...the renters were unharmed and the neighbors around were also ok. The houses on the other hand are destroyed. Most are still standing just alot of damage. The power company has come around and taken everyones meter so they cant do a generator for power....its just not safe. So everyone is now homeless......well they can go to hotels and friends but not home. I just still cant believe what i saw this morning.

Please pray for Prattville ALabama as they were really hit hard. This is the first of this magnitude. It was a F4 tornado.

Night out with my dear sweetheart!

We took the girls to the church where they attend preschool, as their teen choir was doing a fundraiser and was babysitting. WE took all 4 and they even ate pizza there...and loved every minute of it.

William and I went to dinner and Lyndsey joined us. It was a nice time to eat and not have to worry about feeding 4 little mouth's...LOL. Lyndsey then left and went out with a friend and William and I wondered around Target, TJ MAXX and ROss..... Funny thing is....tonight we were approached by 2 different people in town about our blog.... They read it and folllow along with our crew. Nice to see people actually read it.. funny thing is, we didnt even know either couple....I think one's name was Mellissa....HI out there.. If you all reading this would do me a favor and below this is a comment icon....click on it and leave me a quick comment. I would love to know who all keep's up with us...and say HEY every now and then..no pressure but its just nice to see who reads along.

Valentine's Day is right around the corner so I wanted to make the girls something cute for their party at school. ...Well here it is. Isabella was taking a napso the one of all 4 of them will be posted on "LOVE DAY"... I hope you enjoy.

Things are slowly lookin upward

Things are looking upward but still a long ways off....If you all would just continue to pray for my family I would appreciate it.


On a positive side....my son surprised us and showed up home on Saturday mid morning. I was shocked....I looked outside and said what is my son doing in the front yard??? Little did I know he had already called his dad and said he was on the way home....so this morning, for yet another time, he will be leaving for another 2 weeks. I do miss him when he's not around.

Lyndsey is enjoying her new job, she just misses the interaction with alot of people each day....because she is now working in a office all day.

The girls continue to be stuffed up and coughing but 3 out of the 4 are on antibiotics and cough meds....so hopefully soon we will all be well.

To all my online buddies, WE need your prayers!!! SAtan is trying to divide my family AND we need intervention IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!! Please all you prayer warriors out there.......pray for God's almighty healing and peace unlike anything we have ever felt before......

Sorry Ive been MIA

I got sick last week and just wasnt myself, and by Friday night my throat hurt so bad I hardly could swollow. I had to get everything ready for the kids consignment sale as Sat was the LAST day of drop off, and I had been sick all week...so you guessed it....not everything got tagged and taken to the sale.....

After spending 6 hours in Pri Med on Sunday I found out I didnt have strep but a Bad sinus and ear infections.....my how just 24 hours on medicine can make one feel better. I have my voice back and some energy....but still feels like Im snorting salt water...I feel dizzy at times but other than that Im fine.

PRAISE REPORTS.........please find the link to the right that says " Mike and Meredith Cornish adoption" AND the Urbans adoption..........Both families are in Ukraine right now, and The Urban's have a RECORD time of in and out...I think like 2 weeks.........and their 10 day wait time was waived...........Oh how our precious heavenly Father showed himself during the whole process............Please pray for the Cornish Family as they have had some major dissapointments, but now they have found their 2 new angels that will be joining their family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So pray hard that they will be home soon...........to their other 2 great kiddos and make a family of 6!!!!!
